{christmas cards in october}

Whew, what a vacation! It didn't go at all as expected, but we had a good time figuring out last-minute-on-the-fly plans. I'll explain more about the trip later, as soon as I've sorted through the 600+ photos I took (eesh!). I'm sure you all would just love to see that many shots of Crater Lake, right? I knew it. ;)

Anyway, it's good to be back! My shop hit the ground running and so did all the stuff I have to catch up on at work... life charges forward, as usual. It was nice to have a full week off to just hover and explore and let the days saunter by without remembering how many of them had passed. It's going to take me a while to adjust to the culture-shock of fast-paced life again.

While I sort through ideas, thoughts, photos, and trip recaps, I'll share with you a few new things I've added to the shop.... Christmas cards!

That's right. Christmas is a mere 81 days away, which means I should probably start thinking about all the fun gifts I'm going to buy people from Etsy. But even more pressing: figuring out how to successfully navigate my first Christmas season on Etsy! I expect it to be chaos, and I figure the first step is come up with some Christmas cards. Any tips from those of you who have sold through the holidays before?

Also, I know this is totally out of order, but Thanksgiving cards will be on the way soon, too. :)
Any suggestions of what you'd like to see?
