{let the wild rumpus begin!}

Happy Labor Day, everyone! Today will be a quick post since I'll be out gallivanting and having fun times on the town (no, I'm totally kidding. I'm actually working all day...)

I do have a belated Labor Day weekend starting Thursday, so I'll be taking Friday off from blogging this week. I'm also going to close my shop the 6th-9th so I can enjoy a little R&R without worrying about running to the post office on my days off. Therefore, if you have any shop requests/orders you need soon, make sure to get them in by the 5th!

Speaking of the shop... I added a new card yesterday. This one was inspired by my friend Julie, who has commissioned me more than a couple times in the past for cards and prints (thanks, Julie! :)), including a 5x7 of this card to hang in her son's room. She asked me the other day if I had ever drawn the character Max from Where the Wild Things Are, and I said, no, but that sounds awesome.

So I drew it. And it was totally fun. And then I sent it to Julie and she was all like, that would make the greeeeatest party invitation, and I was all like, Dude, I was thinking the same thing!

So, without further ado, here's the newest way to invite a bunch of two year olds over to wreak havoc on your house. You're welcome.

Maybe if you're lucky Julie's son will invite you to his party. I definitely want to go, now. :)
