I adore maps. Something about the thrill of tracing out the steps you've taken in your life is so appealing to me. If I could, I would paper my walls in vintage maps, nautical charts, road atlases, and bulletin boards covered with pins for all the places I've visited.

Though GPSes are handy and have certainly gotten me out of a number of pickles, it's hard to replace a trusty, carefully folded topographical map which shows you each trail, mountain, road and summit you've defied.

{Design*Sponge} has capitalized on my love of all things maps and created a lovely DIY map to hang in your house... I can only imagine each state, trip, and ocean I've charted that I now want to document on my bedroom wall!
